Own the Conflict. Resolve the Dispute
Build the capability to recognise, navigate and resolve conflict before it becomes costly.
A tailored 1–3 day programme that equips leaders and key functions to identify conflict early, understand what is really at stake, and know when and how to intervene.
Participants learn to distinguish between issues they can resolve themselves and situations that require a different approach, before a difficult conversation becomes a people problem, a business dispute or a legal case.
The programme can be tailored for HR, Finance/AP, team leaders, executives and other roles where conflict needs to be handled rather than passed on. It can address both intra-company and B2B disputes.
Available in English, German and Hungarian.
Led by Dora Zielske, Economist, mediator and business leader with 30+ years of international business experience and Harvard Law School mediation training.
Mediation Advocacy
Represent your clients effectively when the dispute moves from litigation to mediation.
A tailored 1–3 day programme for lawyers and law firms who want to understand how to advise, prepare and represent clients effectively in mediation and make mediation a strategic part of their dispute-resolution toolkit.
Mediation requires a different approach from litigation. Lawyers need to know when mediation is appropriate, how to prepare the client and the case, how to develop a mediation strategy, how to work effectively with the mediator, and how to advocate for the client's interests without simply bringing the courtroom into the mediation room.
The programme covers:
Mediation and the Multi-Door Courthouse: where mediation fits within the wider dispute-resolution landscape.
Mediation strategy: when to mediate, when not to, and how to assess the options
Preparing the client and the case: interests, objectives, risks, alternatives and negotiation strategy.
Advocacy at the mediation table: how to use the process and the mediator effectively
Legal frameworks: Hungarian, European and international developments.
Cross-border mediation: the Singapore Convention and enforceability of mediated settlement agreements.
The changing dispute-resolution landscape: why courts, arbitration institutions and dispute-resolution centres are increasingly integrating mediation into their offerings
The objective is simple: give lawyers another tool to protect their clients' interests and achieve better outcomes while remaining in control of their legal strategy.
Available as a bespoke 1–3 day programme for law firms, in English, German or Hungarian.
Led by Dora Zielske, Economist, accredited mediator and Harvard Law School Mediation Intensive alumna. Depending on the firm's practice areas, specialist topics can be delivered with experienced experts from our international network.
